Adult Counselling
Counselling with adults
Individuals may seek support from a counselling psychologist for a number of reasons. Counselling psychologists examine a person's experience and together explore underlying issues within an active, collaborative relationship to empower people to change behaviours, and use a holistic stance, which involves examining the issues a person is facing, within the wider context.
I have experience supporting individuals with varying issues including:
- Obsessive Compulsive Disorders
- Phobias
- eating disorders
- stress
- abuse
- depression
- anxiety
- bereavement
- loss
- anger
- relationship issues
- finance issues
- health issues
- identity
- sexual issues
- employment
- life transitions
Please Note: I accept referrals when they are funded and initiated by organisations. This includes educational settings, private health and social care services, charities, social care, NHS, Civil Services and Insurance Companies. I am not currently accepting self-referred cases from individual families, parents or children.
